Send us your tips and research

Many of you have been doing your own independent research into this project... thank you for taking the initiative, and keep up the hard work.

To better process what we've all gathered so far, nail down what we actually know and prioritize what we need to learn, please forward copies of your information to stopgoslingoaks@gmail.com

Feel free to share whatever ideas you have for things to still look into... and as we process what we know, we'll feed "assignments" back out to all of you.

If you haven't done any research yet, but would like to, email us as well and let us know.

I have already sent email blasts to all Windrose Residents. Check out the website at www.windroseca.org for more info.

  2. Thank you for putting this together. I had no idea this was being proposed until a friend in the neighborhood passed it along to me.

Would it be helpful to have an email blast feature for this?

  3. Rick,

It would be great if you could reference this site from the WindRose site. The awareness of this site is growing, but it may help accelerate it if the WindRose site points people here.

    Thanks!

  4. I learned about this topic from a friend and wanted to give you a little input in case I miss the meeting.
A large part of the rise in crime comes from when the residents that move in do not have reliable transportation. We not only live a few miles from the nearest public transportation but they are not going to expand just due to the housing being put in. When no public transportation system is available those that live in the housing will endure un-neccessary stress due to the location and their lack of transport options and that is when we will slowly but surely see crime start increasing. It starts small and rises over a period of normally years but in our case with our wonderful rural area the potential for a rapid rise is increased dramatically. There is also the lack of enough jobs in the area to be considered. We do not have enough businesses nor do I want to see a large increase in businesses to overload our nice rural little area to accomodate the residents.
